New identity reflects stronger focus on the American market

The United States arm of Israeli defense manufacturer Elbit Systems has been renamed Twenty-Six Defense as part of a rebranding initiative aimed at highlighting the company’s focus on US customers and domestic operations.

The new identity reflects the division’s continued investment in US-based design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

Headquarters remain in Texas

Twenty-Six Defense will remain headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, and will continue operating as a reportable segment of Elbit Systems under a Special Security Agreement.

The company’s US division began operations in 1993 and currently employs approximately 3,300 people across 10 states.

Expertise in electronics, drones and ground combat systems

Twenty-Six Defense develops and manufactures electronic systems, unmanned aircraft and technologies designed for ground combat operations.

The division recently partnered with Anduril in a US Army competition for a self-propelled howitzer. The contract was ultimately awarded to South Korean defense company Hanwha.

A name inspired by the periodic table

The name Twenty-Six Defense refers to iron, which has atomic number 26 on the periodic table.

“Launching Twenty-Six Defense underscores our growth in the American market and reinforces our commitment to supporting US warfighters, wherever the mission takes place,” said Luke Savoie, the company’s president and chief executive officer.
