A Trusted Partner for U.S. Armed Forces
The U.S. Air Force (USAF) has relied on Bombardier for years, operating seven modified Global aircraft in the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) program—known in the USAF as the E-11A. Nicknamed “Wi-Fi in the sky,” these aircraft serve as high-altitude communication hubs, seamlessly relaying voice and tactical data across challenging terrains, including in Afghanistan, significantly supporting ground forces.
