Incendiary revelations once again, and with an indigestible audacity, shatter the credibility of the Prahova County Police Inspectorate. After „Incisiv de Prahova” had already exposed the „family business” run under Commissioner Marcel Bălan’s baton, now comes the „retaliation” from the „Clan”! A retaliation so pathetic that it raises serious questions not only about the morality but also about the minimal legal knowledge of those who are supposed to enforce the law.
I. The „Inflatable Doll’s” Threat: Cristina Bălan, Between Dignity and Ridicule!
What seemed to be merely a „nitpick” at the Prahova Police, through the position of Mrs. Carmen Bălan (now identified, by herself, as Cristina Bălan, the Deputy’s wife), has escalated into a tasteless legal farce. Instead of correcting the blatant incompatibilities reported by „Incisiv de Prahova” on January 30, 2026, „Mrs. Nitpick” chose the path of intimidation.
In a message brimming with artificial indignation, „Bălan Cristina, a private person, not holding the quality of a public figure” (quoted verbatim, to the eternal amusement of jurists), dispatched a notification to our editorial office. Between the lines: threats of legal action, demands for article deletion, and an audacity worthy of a better cause. Mrs. Cristina, who according to „Incisiv de Prahova”‘s investigations (July 2025) once investigated the mobsters with whom her husband, Marcel Bălan, was having a grand time at parties, now claims she is not a public figure! This, while holding the position of officer in the Public Order Bureau, under the very baton of her husband, Marcel Bălan, who has Public Order and Road Traffic attributions! Pathetic, isn’t it? When morality is an inflatable doll, it’s clear that logic also deflates (aici)!

II. Incompatibility, a „Legal” Unknown: From the Civil Code to Legal Illiteracy (aici) !
The editorial team of „Incisiv de Prahova” responded with a bitter smile to Mrs. Bălan’s demands, challenging her to immediately appeal to the court. „You’re not a public figure? Interesting! … We direct you to the court – perhaps you’ll find a ‘favorable panel of judges’ – for both you and your husband. Revelations,” was our retort. Then we continued: „Given our clear-cut response – please don’t waste your 48 hours and address the court starting this very moment – for a Presidential Ordinance. We’ve been eagerly awaiting this for several years, ever since your husband threatened us in the same vein – he who also isn’t… a public figure. We’ll see you in court. With utmost respect.”

But why such certainty on our part? Simple! Incompatibility for first-degree relatives in the Romanian Police is not a press fabrication, but a legal reality! According to regulations, police officers cannot have first-degree relatives (spouse) under their direct subordination, to prevent influencing decisions and to avoid conflicts of interest. The major prohibition is for one relative to be the direct superior or direct subordinate of the other. If such a situation arises (e.g., through marriage, transfer, or appointment to a management position), one of the officers must transfer or change departments to eliminate the state of incompatibility.
This fundamental principle is nonchalantly ignored at the Prahova Police. „Mrs. Nitpick,” alias Cristina Bălan, is subordinate to her husband, Marcel Bălan, within the very same structure! This isn’t just a „nitpick,” it’s a „noose for any claim of legality”! The fact that „the lady” claims she is not a public figure and that the information is „untrue” demonstrates a level of legal „cluelessness” dangerous for a police officer. How can a person who doesn’t understand these elementary principles enforce the law?
III. The „Nitpicking Clan”: A „Family” That Defies Common Sense and the Law!
The case of the „Nitpicking Clan” unfortunately confirms that the Prahova Police Inspectorate has become a testing ground for impunity and a model of „uniformed circus act,” as we dubbed Marcel Bălan back in July 2025. From the „crime with an inflatable doll” episode and his subsequent promotion, to the current situation, the institution is a perpetual spectacle of poor taste.
„Incisiv de Prahova”‘s revelations about the „White Tower Octopus” (February 2024) and the „Deleted File Operation” revealed systemic corruption. Now, with the pathetic threats from „Mrs. Nitpick” and the flagrant disregard for the incompatibility law, the picture is complete. The citizens of Prahova deserve a police force that protects them, not a „family business” where careers are destroyed by personal vendettas and glaring incompatibilities, and where their chiefs and wives don’t even know the basic elements of the law.
Sleep soundly, dear citizens, the „Nitpicking Clan” watches over… its own interests and its own ignorance, threatening lawsuits against anyone who dares to reveal the truth.

There, under the watchful eyes of the public and the judge, we shall complete our revelations, demonstrating, with irrefutable documents and damning testimonies, exactly who you are.
