Ankara, Türkiye – In response to the rapidly evolving battlespace, ASELSAN has introduced the ASELFLIR 600, Türkiye’s next-generation electro-optical solution tailored for High-Altitude Long-Endurance (HALE) platforms. This system aims to enhance ISR capabilities in global defense operations.
Elevating Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance
Blending superior optics, advanced stabilization, and AI-powered autonomy, ASELFLIR 600 is engineered to deliver unmatched intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. Building on the legacy of the ASELFLIR 500, deployed on platforms like TB2, AKINCI, ANKA, ANKA-3, and AKSUNGUR, and exported to over 20 countries, ASELFLIR 600 enhances performance with extended range, automation, and mission flexibility.
Next-Gen Vision at Higher Altitudes
At the core of the ASELFLIR 600 is a 25-inch multispectral common aperture, capturing optical energy across mid-wave infrared (MWIR), short-wave infrared (SWIR), and visible bands. Supported by ASELSAN’s optics and high-resolution sensors, this architecture enhances detection, recognition, and identification capabilities.
The system features an HD mid-wave infrared camera, a full-HD day TV camera, a SWIR sensor, and a high-definition thermal imager, integrated with precision laser systems including a rangefinder, target designator, laser pointer, and spot tracker.
To ensure imaging stability during high-altitude maneuvers, the system incorporates a four-axis stabilized gimbal and a two-axis internal optics system, reinforced with vibration-damping technologies.
Smart ISR for a New Strategic Era
ASELFLIR 600 is equipped with embedded AI algorithms for real-time target detection, threat classification, and adaptive tracking, processing visual data at high speed. This onboard intelligence transforms ASELFLIR 600 from a passive payload into a dynamic force multiplier.
Scheduled for serial production in 2026, ASELFLIR 600 is developed through indigenous engineering. As HALE-class UAVs expand their role in strategic missions, ASELFLIR 600 aims to extend their ISR capabilities, enhancing situational awareness and decision superiority from greater distances and altitudes.
